Craig Salt, a plastic surgeon assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego, performs a skin graft as part of the Project Comprehensive Aesthetic Restorative Effort, or C.A.R.E. Project C.A.R.E is a multidisciplinary reconstructive program that focuses on aesthetic rehabilitation and provides other services, such as reconstructive surgery, mental health support and wound care.
