Interview: 28th of August, 03:30 pm
University: Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher in Cell Biology and Immunology
Personal details: Tina Lucas finished her PhD program at University of Cologne in the Department of Dermatology and Venerology in 2012. Then she became a researcher at the Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main. She authored almost 20 publications and is going to present the study „Light activation of antimiR-92a mediates locally-restricted target derepression and promotes healing in diabetic mice” at the ESC Congress. Results could enter the field of cardiac catheterization. The light activation of the local applied antimiR-92 is suitable for efficient inhibition of microRNA (=derepression: a repressor gene inhibits the activity of an operator gene) what accelerates wound healing.
