HowTo: Content PagesThe DocCheck Channels got a new feature. With the help of so-called Content Pages you can fix relevant contents in additional tabs. In this article , you will learn how to create and use them.

1. What are Content Pages?

Content Pages are tabs, which can be created in addition to the standard tabs of a channel. They offer the opportunity to fix information about particular topics, products or campagnes within an editable page.

2. How can I create Content Pages?

To make changes to your channel, simply click on the green "Edit" button below the cover picture.

In edit mode, you can add new Content Pages to your channel via the respective submenu "Content Pages". Open the dropdown and click on "Add page".

In the next step, the editing mask of your Content Page opens. Insert the title of the page (max. 25 characters) and your content. You have the same formatting options and elements as when creating an article.

Below the content box you find the visibility setting ("Visible for..."). Here you decide who is allowed to see the contents of your Content Page:

public = The content is public. This means that people who have clicked on the corresponding link to the channel or article or who have become aware of the page via a search engine can access this content even without logging in to DocCheck.
all DocCheck members = Anyone who is registered with DocCheck and has logged into the portal can view the content.
healthcare professionals = Medical members (see next group), medical students and logged-in DocCheck users who exercise a medical profession regulated by federal law have access to the content.
medical members = Logged-in physicians, pharmacists and medical students who have been activated (after presentation of a valid professional certificate) for content that is subject to the German Drug Advertising Act can access it.

To save the newly created page, click on "Save changes".

You can finish the editing process by clicking on the grey "Done" button below the cover picture.

3. How many Content Pages can be created?

You can create a maximum of 5 Content Pages per channel.

4. How can I change the order of my Content Pages?

In edit mode, you can change the order of your Content Pages per drag and drop. Click on the arrow to the left of the page title and drag the tab to the desired position.

You can finish the editing process by clicking on the grey "Done" button below the cover picture.

5. How can I show/hide Content Pages in my channel?

With the help of the "eye" icon you decide whether your page is visible or not in your channel.

If the icon is not crossed out, the respective Content Page will be displayed to the visitors of your channel (according to the visibility settings you have previously set).

If the icon is crossed out, the respective Content Page won't be visible to channel visitors. As channel author, however, you are able to see it greyed out and you can still edit it.

6. How can I edit the content of my Content Pages?

You can edit the content of your Content Pages by selecting the sub-item "Content Pages" in the edit mode of your channel and clicking on the "pencil" icon.

Alternatively, you can click directly on the "Edit" button at the end of a Content Page in the channel view. This will take you directly to the edit screen of the respective page.
