1. Why should I write a comment?

Share your opinion and knowledge to initiate exciting discussions or position yourself on specific topics. Sharing experiences among colleagues helps especially with questions about specific patient cases.

2. What content can I comment on?

In principle, you can leave a comment under every post (e.g. article, question, etc.) for which the comment function is activated.

At DocCheck, each author or channel operator can determine whether writing comments is permitted, prohibited, or restricted. In most cases, the various rights settings are editorial decisions or legal requirements.

3. Where can I participate in discussions?

Check out the following channels. Here you can help answer medical questions from the community or share your opinion on current news.

4. How can I publish a comment?

Important: In order to comment on a post, you must be logged in!

Scroll to the comment section at the end of the respective post, click into the comment field and type your text.

Decide under which name you want to publish your comment. You have the following options:

Myself: Your real name will be displayed.
Channel: You comment in the name of one of your channels.
Anonymous user: You choose a pseudonym and remain anonymous.

Publish your comment by clicking on "Comment".

5. How can I edit my comment?

If you move your cursor over your published comment, the word "Edit" will appear below the comment.

Click on "Edit" and make the desired change.

After you click on "Save", your comment will be adjusted.

The fact that a change has been made to your comment is then indicated to everyone by the word "Edited" below your comment.

You can adjust your comment again by moving the cursor over the word "Edited" and clicking on it.

6. How can I delete my comment?

To delete your comment, please contact our user support.

7. What should I pay attention to when commenting?

The rules of politeness also apply on the Internet. Netiquette is the etiquette to which all members must adhere when commenting on DocCheck posts.

In the event of violations, we reserve the right to hide or completely delete comments.
