A: No capsular invasion
B: No capsular invasion, but hints for invasive process. Inspect in steps and use more tissue
C: Capsular invasion
D: Capsular invasion. The tumor node is coverd by neo-capsula, but has crossed an imaginary (dotted) line along the original capsule
E: Capsular invasion. Sattelite nodes with same cellularity and cytological architecture as the main tumor
F: No capsular invasion, but hints for invasive process. A few follicles are placed vertically to the capsula. Inspect in steps and use more tissue
G: No capsular invasion. A few follicles are placed parallel to the capsula
H: Capsular invasion
I: No capsular invasion, but hints for invasive process. Inspect in steps and use more tissue
J: No capsular invasion. Capsular rupture after fine needle biopsy: little invasive Kein Kapseldurchbruch. Kapselruptur nach Feinnadelpunktion: kleine invasive buds of the tumor inside the capsula with degenerating aspect accompanied by lymphocytes and siderophages.
