Pregnancy (anatomical model)A pregnancy is the time in which a fertilized egg cell grows into a child inside the body of a person with a uterus.The pregnancy lasts, from fertilization to birth, 267 days on average. The last menstruation began about 14 days before fertilization and is the starting point for the official count of pregnacy time which then means that pregnancy lasts 40 weeks (roughly 10 month).Pregnancy:

Around the start of the 5th week the pregnancy is easily diagnosable through simple (urine) tests. The heart begins to beat. In the first month many pregnant persons feel bad because of changes in hormones. There may be frequent nausea and vomiting and desire for sleep.

Around the start of the 7th week the embryo reacts to stimuli from the outside.

At the start of the 4th month organ formation has finished and the fetus begins to grow

In the 5th month the pregnant person begins to feel movements. The fetus can taste, reacts to cold, pain, pressure and sound.

In the 6th month the lungs have developed.

In the 7th month the fetus doubles its weightd and weighs around 1 kg and measures around 34cm. The last month of pregnancy are often difficult because child and amniotic fluid weigh between 3 and 10 kg.

In the 10th month the baby is born. The normal birth weight is around 3 to 3.5 kg
