Basalioma of the scalp
The complete surgical excision is the most secure form of therapy. Various methods can be used:
Surgery with systematic control of the resection sides (e.g. Mohs-surgery): for tumors in the problem areas of the face (eye lids, lips, nose, ear) as well as for relapse tumors.
Surgery with security distance, adapted to the tumor (4-5 mm) and conventional histology: for smaller tumors as well as larger tumors on the torso, arms and legs
horizontal excision with conventional histology: for multifocal, superficial basaliomas on the torso, arms and legs
