The brain is the part of the central nervous system that's located inside the cranial cavity of the head. It's the control center of the bodyof vertebrates.
The cerebellum is located inside the posterior cranial fossa. It's separated from the cerebrum by the cerebellar tentorium. It has a cereballar falx between its two mostly symmetric hemispheres. The cerebellum borders on medulla oblongata and pons, and forms the roof of the fourth ventricle. The cerebromedullar cistern, located between cerebellum and medulla oblongata, is very clinically important: Liquor can be extracted from it in case of a suboccipital puncture.
