During a CT scan examination realized for sinusitis related or not to teeth (see both maxillary sinusitis evidence also on these images), a mesiodens oriented with the crown nearly in the nose area was diagnosed. This tooth was not detectable on a classic orthopantomogram (panoramic x-ray) due to superimposition of other structures.
