Contrast media layering in retention
Contrast media are pharmaceutical, which shall not cure disease but are needed for detection of such. They are used in radiology (X-ray, sonography, MRI). The ideal contrast media does not interfere with metabolism, it just enhances contrast (hence the name) for better recognition of structures.
