PATIENT - 88 years old | Ulcus cruris venosum (Picture 1) | Wound colonized by Staphylococcus aureusand Enterobacter cloacae | Accompanying diseases: Hysterectomy, uterectomy, and arterial hypertension
TREATMENT - Before the treatment cleansing of the wound with sterile saline solution | Application of the photosensitizer methylene blue| Radiotherapy at the beginning, then every 3d day a laser therapy device with 810nm, defocussed, circling movements, ca. 5cm distance to wound surface, 4W, 150s, 60J/cm²
RESULT - After 5 treatments no more exsudation (Picture 2) | Obvious reduction of Staphylococcus aureus
