The 76-year-old patient was found comatose in his apartment. He clinically died of multi organ failure with sepsis. The obduction revealed diabetes mellitus as the primary disease with secondary diseases. Also arterial hypertonia with chronic left ventricular load, emphysema bronchitis, and recurring pleuritises.
In the brain: Massive arachnoidal, intraparenchymatous and intraventricular bleedings.
