Areas of hormone prudcution, especially in the brain:
There are different glands whose hormones have special effects.
Melatonin, from the pineal gland, controls the day-nigh/sleep-wake-rhythm. It can slow aging, prevent migraines, and catch free radicals.
Oxytocin, from the hypothalamus, influences the treatment of parent to child and between sexual partners. It is also called bonding-hormone. Parents form intense bonds with their children, relationships between partners stabilize.
The hypothalamus (and the pituitary gland) also produces other hormones that influence the female menstrual cycle and milk production.
