Salivary glands of the head
The illustration shows a head colored in blue on which the cerebrum is projected. The parotid gland, or ear salivary gland, is also depicted in color, and its excretory duct (parotid duct). Visible are also the submandibular gland (mandible salivary gland) with its excretory duct that opens out under the tongue.
