Filtration in the renal corpuscle
Capillary bundle of the Malpighian / renal corpuscules in the renal cortex. Inside of them the primary urine is formed. The individual capillary loops are covered by the inner layer of the Bowman`s capsule (visceral layer consisting of podocytes). They have an afferent and an efferent vessel. Both kidneys contain around 2 million glomeruli that filtrate 180 l per day.
