Gastric mucosa
Typical layers: Mucosa, submucosa, muscularis, and adventitia. The mucosa produces the gastric juice, it contains many glands (gastric, pyloric, and cardiac glands), which are reduced in case of a chronic gastritis. It has gastric folds and areals.
