Back muscles with sciatic nerve
Image of the autochthonous and superficial back muscles, the spine, bottom, and leg muscles. The muscular supporting structures of the spine are immensely important for the upright walk. If those muscles aren`t trained, postural defects, hardenings, or chronic back pain can arise. If they`re being overstrained, a disk prolapse can happen, the so-called slipped disk. In this case, the spinal disk puts pressure on nerves and causes pain or numbness.
