Old skin
Aging, wrinkled, pigmented, thin skin. The skin is the heaviest, most multifunctional organ with the largest surface. It`s subdivided into epidermis, dermis, and subcutis. All of these layers thin out in older age. Reduced sebaceous and glandular secretion causes the skin to dry out, desquamate, and pigment. Red or brownish coin-sized spots can occurr due to lack of blood circulation.
