Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, EDS short, refers to a heterogeneous group of diseases that are caused by a defect of collagen synthesis. This patient (24 years old) came from a completely different reason: Obstructive jaundice with cholangitis after removal of a common bile duct cyst at age 4 (a consequence of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) with application of a hepaticojejunostomy. Now stenosis of the anastomosis. We carried out a PTCD (pictures at doccheck 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 ) and the patient has recovered well from the cholangitis. Next step is a transhepatic angioscopy with possible dilation.
