Coiled giant aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery (MCA) on the rightmacroscopic picture, partially thrombosed5 1/2 years after coiling the aneurysm was resected because the patient developed epilepsy, the aneurysm increased in size and was supplied again through blood circulation.One can clearly see the thrombus and the lumen with fresh blood. The holes are caused by the removal of the coils.
