The coil that was used in the emolisation of a giant aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery is shown here. One recognizes the deformation of the coils that lead to a piercing of the aneurysmal wall (see other pictures). The aneurysm was removed later because the patient developed epilepsy, the aneurysm increased in size and was supplied again through blood circulation.
